A free event from the Affordable Warmth Advocacy project run in partnership by Changeworks, Home Energy Scotland and the Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL).

This informal online session is an opportunity to hear about the help and support that is available to tenants in the South East of Scotland, and to their landlords through Home Energy Scotland to help keep rental homes warm and affordable for tenants to live in.  Join SAL chief executive John Blackwood in conversation with Alan Cole of Changeworks and James Seabridge-Cooper of Home Energy Scotland to ask questions or chat in general about how to help address tenant fuel poverty, sustain tenancies and keep rental homes warm.

This online meeting is free of charge to landlords with rental properties in the EH and TD postcode areas, with thanks to funding from the Affordable Warmth Advocacy partnership project.

Please note that this project is able to assist tenants living in the EH and TD postcode areas only. Therefore the information presented will only be relevant to landlords who let in those areas. Please can we ask you only to book this event if you let in EH or TD.

If you let properties in other areas and would like energy efficiency or tenant fuel poverty prevention advice, please contact us for further information. SAL members can contact us to arrange a call back from one of our colleagues on the SAL advice line.

Booking is essential. Please book online, by emailing info@scottishlandlords.com  or call 0131 564 0100 to book your place.

This meeting is being delivered by Changeworks, Home Energy Scotland and SAL, as part of their Affordable Warmth Advocacy partnership project.

Changeworks works with local authorities, housing associations, voluntary sector organisations and health professionals to prevent and alleviate fuel poverty by helping householders to heat their homes more affordably.

Affordable Warmth Advocacy empowers householders to tackle cold homes and resolve their energy and debt problems. This service provides a full complement of support to tackle energy issues faced by people living in South-East Scotland, in partnership with  Home Energy Scotland and debt charity StepChange.

This event is only available to members. Existing members should log in to book.
