Talking deposits with SafeDeposits Scotland and SAL

John Blackwood in conversation with Carol Bradburn, head of SafeDeposits Scotland.

As well as being SAL’s 25th anniversary, 2026 marks 15 years since the Tenancy Deposit Schemes (Scotland) Regulations 2011 came into force. In this Talking Deposits session we take a particular look at the legislation side of deposit protection – what deposit trends since 2011 look like, how deposits factor in the Housing (Scotland) Act 2025 and looking at the overall requirements of the regulations.

This session was recorded on 23 June 2026.
