SAL response to New Deal consultation

Thank you to all members who have shared their views about the government’s New Deal consultation with SAL both by email and via our SALtalks webinar sessions (see below) we have been running with the Scottish Government.

We have now finalised SAL’s proposed response to the consultation which has been heavily influenced by members’ feedback. A copy of the response can be read here. (This is SAL member only content, members please log in to download, non members please join here to access).

If you have yet to share your views on the New Deal consultation with the government, please do take the time to do so before the consultation deadline of 15 April.

If responding please note that it is more beneficial to share your personal views and experiences than to submit an identical copy of the SAL response to each question. It is not necessary to respond to every question; you can focus on those you feel most strongly about. Responses should be submitted online here.
