Letting agent registration update
Before the pandemic our CLA director, Mike Campbell (pictured) regularly attended the Scottish Government’s quarterly Letting Agent Stakeholder Group meeting along with others from the sector representing landlords, agents, tenants and a range of housing and advice organisations.
The regular meetings remain in abeyance for now, however the Scottish Government’s letting agent registration (LAR) team have issued a written update. It is intended to provide you with some key news and information on what has been happening within the LAR team and we will continue to have ongoing dialogue with the LAR team at this important time where the majority of our CLA members will be facing the prospect of renewing their agent registration.
