IKEA Edinburgh breakfast meeting – landlords and letting agents

SAL in partnership with IKEA is delighted to invite you to attend a free breakfast information event taking place at the IKEA store in Edinburgh on Monday 2 June 2025 at 10.00am.

This informal event aims to help landlords understand the changes the Scottish Government intends to introduce in the private rented sector over the next few years.  Topics covered will range from proposals for rent control, changes to the rules around pets and personalising properties, changes to the procedures for ending a joint tenancy and plans to introduce a minimum energy efficiency standard. This session is a great opportunity to find out what you need to know and ask all your questions.

What to expect:

• Welcome and introduction by SAL chief executive, John Blackwood
• Christina MacLennan of IKEA Business will give a presentation on their services for landlords and letting agents
• A presentation on potential forthcoming changes in the PRS by SAL policy manager, Caroline Elgar
• Complimentary refreshments hosted by IKEA and a chance to network with fellow SAL members
